Coping with Stress During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Stress is a common part of modern life. Stay-At-Home laws and suggestions add to that as many people are using to going out as often as needed or wanted.

Here are some tips on how to manage during the Stay-At-Home period mandated by the COVID-19 pandemic:

  •  Keep a normal workday and weekend schedule.
  • Avoid the temptation to go to sleep and/or wake up later than you normally did.
  • Create a daily schedule you can reasonably maintain. Do expect too much or plan too little. Start with 3-5 things and then progress as you feel comfortable.

  •  Do set aside a specific time to do stretches and weight-bearing exercises.

  • Insomnia? If you have trouble going to sleep, you can try guided mediation as well as the meditation music above.
